Oregon Trio Shine at NCAA Tournament

west Regional semifinals.
Jackson, Jones and Ridnour,
who carried Oregon (25-8) to its
first Pac-10 Conference title since
1939, accounted for all but 11 o f
the Ducks’ points as they held o ff
the Demon Deacons (21 -13) in a
thrilling, end-to-end game with
little defense but plenty o f fire­
works.
“ We all expect this out o f
each one o f us,” Jones said af­
terward w hile looking at his two
team m ates. “ We have a lot o f
confidence in each other. We
d o n ’t think it’s anything new .”
