Clues Sought in Locating
Suspects for Theft/Vandalism
The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation
w ith C rim e Stoppers, is asking for your help
identifying and apprehending the suspects re­
sponsible for a theft and vandalism .
O n M onday, Feb. 25 at about 8:30 a.m ., tw o
m en w alked into M r. Suds Laundrom at, at 4450
S. W . G arden H om e R d., dam aged coin boxes on
10 w ashing m achines, and took a bill changer
after pulling it o ff a wall.
Investigators believe the sam e suspects may
be responsible for several sim ilar incidents.
O ne o f the suspects is a w hite m ale in his m id
2 0 ’s, 5 foot 9 inches tall, with a m edium build and
a shaved head. He w as w earing a black long
sleeve shirt with w hite stripes dow n the arm s,
jean s and w hite tennis shoes.
The other suspect also is a w hite m ale in his
2 0 ’s, 6 foot tall, w ith dark brow n hair. H e w as
w earing a gray hooded zipper jacket, black pants,
black baseball cap, and glasses.
T he m en had a dog w ith them , w hich is be­
lieved to be a w hite pit bull terrier w ith brow n
markings.
C rim e Stoppers is offering a cash rew ard o f up
to $ 1,000 for information, reported to Crim e Stop­
pers, w hich leads to an arrest in this case, and

The Oregon Employment Re­
lations B oard has ruled the hos-
pital violated state labor law for
paying nurses w ho crossed the
picket line m ore than w hat O H SU
w as offering striking nurses.
The decision w as based on an
unfair labor practice com plaint
subm itted by the union in Janu­
ary. The board asked O H SU to
pay about $310,000, o r about
$300 dollars to each o f the strik­
ing nurses.
