third-party firm s with the intent of writing contracts for the pro
vision of on-call professional construction management a nd /
or inspection services to supplement in-house management
and inspection sta ff. It is intended that contracts be written
with two firm s for on-call, task order based services on mul
tiple projects. Contracts will have a "not to exceed” value and
be effective for a minimum of two years. At the City's discre
tion, negotiations may be entered into for an additional term
after the initial two years.
