Statistically, there are about
7% o f African Americans en
tering our nation ’ s la w schools
and there is a great need for
more to receive professional legal training. This guide, which
is the first and only law school admissions book written
especially but not exclusively for African Americans, hopes
to play some role in increasing the number of African Ameri
cans successfully gaining admission to American law schools.
The book, “The African American Pre-Law School Advice
Guide" provides comprehensive and detailed information on
the admissions application, grade point average, the Law
School Admission Test, personal statement, financial aid
concerns and more.
