Kwanzaa Gala & Gentlemen's Ball
A family o f eccentric geniuses reunite unexpectedly after a
long separation in “ The Royal Tenenbaums. ’
Set in m ythic pre-historic tim es, the story o f a desperate battle against
encroaching evil unfolds. It pits young hobbit Frodo, w ho has
inherited a m agic ring from his elderly cousin Bilbo, against the dark
L or Sauron. W ise to the pow ers that the m agic ring holds, Sauron
desires it, know ing its pow er w ill enable him to enslave the people o f
M iddle Earth. In an effort to thw art Sauron, Frodo recruits the
fellow ship o f the w izard, an elf, a dw arf and others on a m ission to
destroy the ring so no being can m isuse it; how ever, by casting it into
the volcanic fires in the C rack o f D oom , the ring unleashes its own

received a Braverm an grant o f $50,000 in the ninth g rad e) and Richie
was a junioi cham pion tennis player (who won the U.S. N ationals three
years in a row). Each genius’ ability appeared unparalleled until Royal
and Etheline separated and virtually all m em ory o f the T enenbaum
