The Mt. Hood Jazz Festival will
present two free ja z z im provisa­
tional w orkshops as part o f the
Festival’s M usic Education Pro­
gram. The workshops will include
a “M aster Jazz G uitar” w orkshop
taught by the renow ned guitarist
Dan Balmer on Thurs., Aug. 2, and
the “Art o f the D uo” w orkshop
w ith vocalist Jenna M am ina and
guitarist Andre Bush on Fri., Aug.
3. Both workshops wil be held from
5-7 p.m. at Babcock’s Music, 6405 E.
Mill Plain Blvd., in Vancouver.
