Education Obituaries Audrey Mae Triplet A funeral was held June 27,2001, in Killingsworth Little Chapel of the Chimes for Audrey Mae Triplet, who died June 19 at age 71. Mrs. Triplet was bom Audrey Mae Mantonya on Nov. 5,1929, in Alta, Iowa. She moved to Portland in the 1940s and was a homemaker. In 1946, she married Alvin Triplet; he died in 1993. Survivors include her sons, Richard, Jerald, Terry and Tim; 15 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. Her daughter, Bonnie Jean, died in 1993. Doll Phillips - Maiden Name Branden Sunrise Oct. 24,1911- Sunset July 4,2001 Doll Phillips was bom inClarksdale, MS., she moved to Oregon in 1944. Ms. Doll (as she was known by the children o f her close friends) married E. Mack Phillips in 1952, who preceded he in death in 1997. Mrs. Guitry was bom Rosie LeeTumeron Sept. 16,1913, inTallulah, La., and moved to Portland in 1940. During World War II, she was a painter in the shipyards. Later, she was a nurse’s aide for Hall Sanitarium for 18 years, retiring in 1978. She was a member o f the church and served on its Mothers Board. In 1958, she married Cleveland Guitry Jf.; he died in 1989. Survivors include her daughters, Margie J. and Eyvonne M.; sons, Billy C., Allen R., Charles L. and James Sr.; sisters, Samella Brazil and Mandy Solomon; brother, Sam Turner Jr.; 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
