Columbia Backyard
Concerts
Through Sep. 12
T he Colum bian B ackyard C on­
certs offer eight concerts around the
city and C lark County. These con­
certs are m ostly on Friday and S atur­
day evenings, and run until m id-N o­
vem ber. C ity concerts at noon offers
10 hour-lo n g W ednesday events,
beginning July 11 and concluding
S eptem ber 12. T he first seven noon
concerts are in E sther Short Park and
the final three are in the Sculpture
G arden at N inth Street and B road­
way. G uests are asked to bring blan­
kets and low -back lawn chairs to all
concerts. Picnics are encouraged, and
vendors w ill be selling food. Dogs
m ust be leashed.
