Mississippi also provides

wine are both served.
Stanton is not only reach­
ing out to local residents,
but businesses in the area
as well. Mississippi is rep­
resented by the logo “One

seeks to bring in people from
all walks o f life.

The restaurant, which
opened just 8 weeks ago,
has terminated a contract
with Pizzicato Pizza to re­
duce prices.
O w ner Philip Stanton
lives in the historic Missis­
sippi district.
He realized that there
was a real need for pizza in
the neighborhood. Before
Mississippi, there was not a
local pizza restaurant in
proximity to the area.
The M ississippi serves

The environment is re­
laxed. The dining room is
filled with antique tables,
chairs and cabinets.

feesof$2 per hour and40 cents per mile
include gasoline and full insurance
coverage.
CarSharing Portland, the enterprise
that gives local residents an alterna­
tive to ow ning a car, is placing three
new Saturn sedans in northeast neigh­
borhoods, at 24th and Broadw ay,
M artin Luther King Jr. B oulevard and
Knott, and 16th and A lberta

more northeast members, so these new
locations will m eet the dem ands o f that
