Plans and specifications may be reviewed at the office of the Depart­
ment of Environmental Services at the Gresham City Hall. Copies
may be obtained from the Departm ent of Environmental Services by
paying a non-refundable fee of $25 for each set of plans and specifi­
cations requested. If ordered by mail, add a $5 processing and mail­
ing charge. Prior to obtaining plans and specifications, contractors
m ust have purchased the current City of Gresham Public Works Stan­
dards (July 2 0 ,1 9 9 3 ), as shown by the records of the Departm ent of
Environmental Services.
Bidders must prequalify with the City of Gresham by July 3, 2001 for
Storm drainage work.
This project is for a public work and is subject to ORS 279.348 to
279.380, the Oregon Prevailing Wage Law.
All proposals m ust be submitted on the forms furnished by the City of
Gresham , mailed or delivered to the Departm ent of Environmental
Services, City of Gresham , in a sealed envelope plainly marked,
“SEALED B ID ’ for the Minor Storm Drain Improvements, 902400,
bearing the name and address of the bidder. Each must be accompa­
nied by a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond in an amount
not less than ten percent (10%) of the total bid.

receive sealed bids up to the hour of 11:00 a.m ., Pacific Standard
Time, Monday, June 25, 2001 and publicly opened and read aloud at

Hand delivered responses, or responses not sent through the USPS,
shall be delivered to the Procurement Services Manager, City of
Vancouver, Financial Services Building, 100 East 13th Street, Vancouver,
Washington 98660. The United States Postal Service will NOT de­
liver to the street address.
Bids shall be placed in an envelope which is sealed and which clearly
states the name of the bidder, the date of the bid opening, and ap­
propriate wording to indicate definitely the nature of the contents. Do
not send bids by FAX. Bids submitted via FAX will not be accepted.

this call if in the judgement of the City Council the best interest of the
City would be served.
No bidder may withdraw his bid after the hour set for the opening
thereof, unless the award of contract is delayed for a period exceed­
ing forty-five (45) days.

planning/design/engineering of streetscape improvements along the
street line in the South Park Blocks Urban Renewal Area from Burnside
to SW Market Street.
PDC would like to assem ble a team with the following disciplines/
experience:
Artist/Artistic Impression
Landscape Architecture/Urban Designer
Engineer
The workscope includes:
Urban Planning
Conceptual design services
Preliminary Engineering/Cost estimating
Public Outreach (led by PDC)
The Selected Consultant(s) will assist a PDC led team with the prepa­
ration of a report and implementation plan for the development of
streetscape im provements along the streetcar route. The develop­
ment of the report and plan will involve a skateboard com mittee, a
technical advisory com mittee and public meetings. Please request
a copy of the RFP for a detailed scope of work.
