Center for m ore than 20 years, retir­
ing in 1993. In 1953, he married
OveliaWalker. Survivors include his
wife; sons, Joe L. Jr., Douglas A.,
Gerald W. and Anthony C.; sisters,
Clara Edward and Helen J. Lewis;
brother. Alec Jr.; four grandchildren;
andsLx great-grandchildren. Interment
inRoseCity Cemetery. Arrangements
by Killingsworth Little Chapel o f the
Chimes.
