Silvers went to Joe Sczney for a cover story on African Americans and the UAW (Feb/Marchl999); the staff of AAOW for its 2000 Preview (Oct/Nov 1999) and Blair S. Walker for a road test of the 2000 Nissan Maxima GLE. Bronze went to Warren Brown for his columns published in 1999 in AAOW. And the Winter 2000 issue of AAOW received a Bronze.
