Metro hereby requests sealed bids for RELOCATION OF ELECTRICAL
PANES AT METRO CENTRAL (RFB#1-15-REM) for the Metro Regional
Environmental Management. Bids are due (postmarks not accepted)
no later than 11:00 a.m. on May 2 ,2 0 0 1 at Regional Environmental
Management Department, at 600 N.E. Grand Avenue, Portland, Or­
egon, Attention: Pete Hillman. At 3:00 p.m. the bids will be opened
publicly read aloud in Conference Room 274 locate in the Metro Cen­
ter, also at 600 N.E. Grand Avenue.
In addition to the sealed bids, all contractors must complete and
submit all the supplied for Metro's M/W/ESB Program (Good Faith
Efforts) and for listing first tier subcontractors, in a separate enve­
lope, within four (4) hours of bid closing (or before 3:00 p.m.). All
other Bid forms must be filled our in included with the "sealed bids”
at time of closing.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for all potential primes
and subs on April 17, 2001, at 9:00 a.m. In the BFI conference

Woolsey Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97203, until 2:00 p.m. Tuesday,
May 29, 2001 for labor and materials for work at two high-rise build­
ings within the Portland area. Shortly thereafter, bids will be opened
and publicly read. No bidder may withdraw their bid after the hour set
for opening until after the lapse of sixty (60) days from the bid open­
ing.
The basic work consists of the removal of the existing carpet, vinyl
composition tile flooring, sheet vinyl flooring, wall cove base and the
replacement with new. Work will be performed at all common areas
per floor at each apartment building.
Bid Documents are available at the HAP Office noted above. A $50
deposit per set of bid documents is requested and are refundable
when documents are returned within 10 days after bid opening.

ing high-rise apartment complex parking lots. Shortly thereafter, bids

The basic work consists of redesigning the existing parking lot storm
drainage system by removing catch basins and constructing new bio

perimeter of parking lot. Steel fabrication. Resurface parking lot with

All bids must conform to the RFB format and be complete including

mum prevailing wage requirements of ORS 279.350.
