tival. This year, there will be
many musical talents along
with good food at the event
called “ Blues & BBQ 2001.”
It will be held at the Melody
Ballroom, located at 615 SE.
Alder, from 7 p.m. - 12:30
a.m.
The evening’s entertain
ment starts off with Country
Blues music by Kinzel &
Hyde. Later acts include: the
Power Band, Jim Mesi with
Mel Solomon, the Hot Shot
Tap Dancers, the Paul Delay
Band and Norman Sylvester
Band with La Rhonda Steele.
For food, there will be lots
o f BBQ ribs and chicken for
sale along with red beans and
rice.
The Melody Ballroom is a
non-smoking building. Doors
will open early for the Blues
Festival, starting at 6:30 p.m.
