Dana Alan Ott Body of Portland Woman Found A body found near Lake Tahoe, Calif, has been identified « as that o f a missing Portland woman, sheriffs officers said. El Dorado County detectives said Rebecca Ellen Barr, 45, died o f a gunshot wound. She was identified by dental records and by family members who described Barr's distinctive wedding ring. A hiker found Barr’s body on March 26 in a heavily wooded area several miles from South Lake Tahoe. The sheriffs office is in­ vestigating the case as a possible homicide. Police believe she was dressed for a business meeting. She was found dressed in a gray- and-white pinstriped suit with a vest, a turquoise turtleneck sweater and low-heeled black shoes. But city officials say the per- mit application helps police and public transportation workers cope with interruptions in traf­ fic caused by m archers.
