The Nissan Z is back. Nissan retired the racy
sports car in 1996, a carryover from the now-
defunct Datsun sports car, which was part of the
Nissan family. It caused great disappointment
among sports car enthusiasts who loved the power

and personality of the Z. Nissan teased us with a
concept version just to see if we really wanted the
return of the Z. Response was tremendous and in
1999 Nissan announced that it will, once again,
build the Z. Look for it in the 2002 model year.
