A free CD release and bon voyage concert for the group Disciple In Song, with a reception to follow, will be held Sunday,
March 25 at 6 p.m. at Augustana Lutheran Church, 2710 NE 14th (NE 15th & Knott).
One if the most popular and inspiring Gospel groups in the city, “Disciple In Song” is celebrating the new release o f their
CD entitled “My Gratitude.” In addition, this will be their final concert prior to taking off on April 3 rd for a 12-day tour in Valencia,
Spain and surrounding cities.
Founded in July 1993 by Christor Lewis, Disciples In Song has progressed into what can only and easily be described as
the most versatile contemporary gospel group around.
The name says it all. While the message in the songs they deliver is unquestionably rooted in the Gospel o f Jesus Christ,
their unique style and delivery leaves an audience with a desire for more and in anticipation o f w hat’s yet to come.
