At Former Dairy Farm

Metro is requesting bids for Demolition of Structure at former dairy
farm (RFB# 01B-3-PKS). Bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope
and mailed or delivered no later than 11:00 a.m. (PDT) Tuesday,
February 23, 2001 to Metro Regional Parks and Greenspaces De­
partment to the attention of Jenny Stein. At which time they well be
opened at 3:00 p.m. (PDT) and publicly read aloud in Room 270 at
Metro Regional Center located at 600 NE Grand Ave., Portland, Or­
egon 97232-2736.
Bid documentation can be obtained at Metro Regional Center, lo­
cated at 600 NE Grand Ave., or by contacting Jenny Stein @ (503)
797-1555.
The contract contemplated consists of demolitic»i of buildings and
structures at a former dairy farm. Emphasis will be placed for recycle
and reuse of demolished materials, with disposal as the least de­
sired option. Materials to be recycled, reused, and disposed include
wood, metal, and concrete.
A Mandatory Pre-Bid Conference for prospective Bidders will be held
on Friday, February 16, 2001 at 30131 SW Mountain Road, West
Linn 97068. A tour of the site will be conducted during this meeting.
The outside of the envelope shall plainly identify the subject of the
Bid, the opening date, and the Bid number.
All bids must conform to the RFB format and be complete including
the use of any required forms. Metro may accept of reject any or all
bids, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substan­
tial rights if such action is deemed in the public interest.

Sealed bids for Orchard Court Student Family Housing project will be
received by the Oregon State Board of Higher Education until Tuesday
February 2 7 , 2 0 0 1 at 2 :0 0 P.M. local tim e Bids will be opened and
publicly read aloud on Wednesday February 2 8 , 2 0 0 1 at 2 :3 0 P.M.
local tim e. Bidders must be registered with the Construction
Contractor's Board.
