Celebrating the warmth ofthe holi
day tradition, Michael Allen Hamson
has announced a Dec. 15 opening
night for this year’s Christmas at The
Old Church concert series.
The Old Church is located at 1422
S.W. 11th Ave. and Clay Street in
downtown Portland.
Special guests featured in this
year’s series, entitled “Home for
C h ristm as w ith M ichael A llen
Harrison, Family & Friends,” include
Aaron M eyer, violinist; Julianne
Johnson, vocalist; Tahlia Rachel
Harrison, vocalist; Seth Samuel’s,
vocalist and guitarist; and Allen De
lay on the saw.
Harrison will play highlights from
his five holiday C D ’s as well tradi
tional Christmas favorites. As part o f
each concert, H arrison will also
present a video produced by Oregon
Public Broadcasting that features his
composition, “Remembrance,” a trib
ute song premiered at the 50th Anni
versary o f Israel’s independence at
the United Nations in New York on
Jan. 29,1999.
