Project Description:
Briefly, the work of Bid Package A -l - Sitework and Site Utilities con
sists of clearing, excavation, structural fill, and site utilities work as
the first phase of construction of a new square foot waste handling
building located on the Oregon State University campus in Corvallis,
Oregon.

Bids for this Bid Package may, at Bidder's option, be faxed in accor

name “ Buxton Hall Renovations” as well as the name and number of
the individual bid packages(s) for which the bid is submitted.
Prebid Meeting:
An examination of the site and conditions for interested bidders will
be conducted at 10:00 a.m., local time, November 2, 2000. Bid
ders shall meet with the CM/GC's representative at the OSU Facili
ties Services, 100 Adams Hall, Klamath Room, on the Oregon State
University Campus. Attendance is mandatory for Bidders on this Bid
Package. Bids submitted for these Bid Packages from bidders not in
attendance will not be considered or read.
Bidding Documents:
Bidding Documents, consisting of plans, specifications, and bidding
requirements, may be examined at the following locations: McKenzie
Commercial, Eugene, Oregon; Eugene Builders Exchange, Eugene,
Oregon; Construction Data Plan Center, Portland, Oregon; Salem Con
tractors Exchange, Salem, Oregon; Daily Journal of Commerce Plan
Center, Portland, Oregon; Oregon Contractor Plan Center, Clackamas,
Oregon; and Willamette Valley Bid Center, Tangent, Oregon.
Bona fide bidders may obtain sets of Bidding Documents from the
C M / GC by paying a $50.00 deposit, subject to availability. All other
Bidders may obtain sets from the CM / GC for the cost of reproduc
tion, which is not refundable.
Prequalification Requirements:
Prequalification of Bidders is not required for the work of Bid Package
A. Apparent low bidders on Bid Packages A -l must be prepared to
submit, upon request and within 72 hours, their qualifications for
approval in accordance with the qualification requirements stated in
the Instruction to Bidders included in the Bidding Documents.

The Housing Authority of Portland may reject any bid in compliance
with the prescribed bidding procedures and requirements and may
reject any or all bids and waive all informalities if, in the judgment of

from qualified vendors of records management software to provide an
enterprise-wide Electronic Records Management System (ERMS) for
the management of electronic and physical records. This purchase
will include the procurement of professional service from the selected
software vendor to provide configuration, implementation, data con
version and training for the City of Portland. The Request for Proposal
(RFP) outlines the software and service requirements, criteria for quali
fications, anticipated scope of services, selection process and required
documentation that must be submitted in response to this RFP.
