Homeless has an immediate opening
fora fulltime Fund Development Co­
ordinator. rhe Council for the Home­
less is an affiliate o f the Vancouver
Housing Authority and is the prin­
ciple planning body for homeless is­
sues in Clark County. The primary
responsibilities o f this position is
developing, planning, organizing and
implementing fundraising events to
benefit shelter and programs that help
the homeless in Clark County.
Requires the ability to communi­
cate effectively in written and verbal
com m unication; spreadsheet and
word processing proficient; ability to
exercise independent judgem ent in
discharging responsibilities; main­
tain effective working relationships
with council members, service pro­
vider, corporate and individual do­
nors, and the general public. Qualifi­
cations include high school gradua­
tion, four years o f college highly de­
sirable, with one/two years o f experi­
ence as an Events Coordinator or
equivalent.
Salary range is $2497-3333 per

Qualified people will be trained in call
taking and dispatch for the City of
Portland and Multnomah County

year. Dispatch services are provided
for five (5) law enforcement agencies,
four (4) fire agencies and emergency
medical services.
