the Tri-County Metropolitan Transportation District of Oregon (Tri-Met) in Room
C of the Portland Building, 1120 SW Fifth Avenue, Portland at 9:00 AM on
Wednesday, September 27,2000 will not be held because no requests for a hearing
were received. The hearing would have been held to consider projects for which
federal assistance from the Federal Transit Administration was being sought.

This contract provides for the traffic signal system improvements for
Fiber Optic Communications on M ill Plain Boulevard between the inter
sections o f Columbia St and Hearthwood Blvd/Parkcrest Dr. for the
construction to furnish and install a 48 fiberoptic cable, related fiberoptic
cable breakout, fiber terminations, fiber optic cable testing, and other
related fiber optic communications work, all in accordance with the
attached contract plans, these contract provisions, and the Standard
Specifications. Some equipment and hardware to be installed by the
contractor will be furnished by the City o f Vancouver.
Bidding documents may be examined in Owner’s office, City of
Vancouver, Washington, Financial Services Building, 100 E 13,h Street,
Vancouver Washington. Bidding documents may be obtained from the
Owner’s office upon payment o f $50,00 plus sales tax, (if applicable) for

The M IS Coordinator works with the division's users in all offices (Portland, Salem , Eugene, Bend

Systems Unit. Minimum qualifications for the position include two years of experience as an
administrative specialist or executive support specialist, which Included administrative support for
