Addy joined the National Arts o f Ghana, becoming
a master in the traditional music and dance o f the
many cultures o f the country.
Addy’s contemporary band KUKRUDU, which
is Ga for earthquake, is an ensemble o f African
and American musicians that performs a rich
synthesis o f musical styles on Ghanaian percussion
and Western instruments including saxophone,
trumpet, keyboard, electric bass and drum kit.
