law, Attorneys will work in legal (
services offices for a term o f 9-12
months. Attorneys will be responsible
for maintaining a caseload o f primarily
family law matters involving domestic
violence. AmeriCorps participants are
paid an annual living allowance of
$9,000. Benefits include health

deferment o f qualified student loans
during the period o f service. In
addition, AmeriCorps participants
w ho successfully com plete the
program receive an education award
