In his course o f the Book o f Revelations, Rev. James Coleman will investigate various perspectives and provide the biblical background for each. Coleman is NPBC’s popular instructor who spices his teaching with humorous anecdotes while he provides student with a solid base for Biblical faith. Pastor Emeritus o f Fellowship Church o f God has received recognition for his years of service as a chaplain at Emanuel Hospital in addition to his role as pastor. On the same evenings, an “Introduction to Bible College” seminar, will be coordinated by NPBC’s librarian and instructor, Beth Nance. It will include presentations by specialists in subject such as: How to succeed in college; How we got our Bible Study; History o f English Bible; Introduction to Bible Interpretations; Inductive Bible Study; and other topics designed to give students a running start on their studies during the regular school year. The course is required for the Bible College’s ACM (Associate’s degree in Christian Ministry) students. Meantime at the offsite computer lab in the New Hope Baptist Church Ms. Barbara Bilincoe will be instructing beginners in Windows 98 on Tuesday evenings and MS on Thursday evenings. NPBC continues to maintain its low tuition rate o f only $ 25 per credit hour or $75 per course. The computer classes are 1 -‘/ j credit hours each. The Northside has been serving the greater Portland/ Vancouver area since 1868. Currently, the YMCA of Columbia- Willamette operate five facilities, several program centers, a year-round resident camp, and more than 60 child care sites in the metropolitan area. Program are primarily directed toward youth, ranging from swim lessons to teen leadership development. The YMCA is the largest non­ profit child care provider in the area, involves about 15,000 youngsters in youth sports leagues, and hosts nearly 5,000 campers each year at YMCA Camp Collins.
