seeking a creative, energetic individual to act as its Policy Unit Manager. This position is located
in Salem. The Policy Unit Manager is responsible for the management of the design, development,
implementation, monitoring, evaluation, and maintenance of all fee-for-service programs; the
production of administrative rules affecting medical services to OMAP clients; ensuring program
conformity to State and Federal regulations; and developing cost control measures to assure
expenditures are within budget. TO QUALIFY, you must have six years of experience in supervision,
staff-technical, or professional level work. This experience must have included at least two years
of supervision and management of a program section, or unit which included: a) development of
program rules and policies, b) development of long- and short-range goals and plans, c) program
evaluation, and d) budget preparation. A Bachelor's degree or coursed in a field related to
Management, such as Business, Public Administration, or a field related to the program of the
employing agency may be substituted for up to three years of the required expenence, but will not
substitute for the two years o f the specialized experience Salary is $3,5 38 to $5,235 a month. TO
