Information Technology Institute Ready to Take
Students at New Portland School

Portland is about to get a new option
in education as the ITI Information
Technology Institute gears up to
take its first Portland class May 1.
ITI, a highly successful Canadian
company since 1984, entered the
United States last year, establishing
a U.S. headquarters and its first
A m e ric a n sc h o o l in D en v er.
Portland is the com pany’s second
U.S. campus. A third school will
open near Seattle in Bellevue,
Washington in August.
ITI has renovated and completely
updated the 12'h floor o f the Oregon
Dental Service (ODS) Tower in
downtown Portland into a state-of-
the-art facility which mimics almost
exactly a corporate information
te c h n o lo g y e n v iro n m e n t. T he

The ITI school is set up to simulate
alm ost exactly a professional,
corporate information technology
working environment, so a student
can easily transition from ITI to the
workplace once they graduate. ITI
graduates are highly sought after by
corporations across North America
and the world, with starting salaries
ranging from the mid-40s to the 60s
and even higher, depending upon a

full Internet access and e-mail
