Lease Crutcher Lewis, serving as the Construction Manager/General
Contractor (CM/GC) for Multnomah County, is soliciting bids for the
Renovation and Tenant Improvements at the Multnomah Building located
at 501 S.E. Hawthorne Street, Portland, Oregon. T erms and conditions of the
bidare outlined in LeaseCrutcherLewis(C'M/GC)“Invitation to Bid”,dated
January 10,2000, attached to and made a part of the Contract Documents.
Bids will be received at the offices of Lease C ru tc h e r Lewis, 921 SW
W ashington Suite 150, P ortland, Oregon 97205, until 2:00 p.m. PST,
Ja n u a ry 25,2000 at which time the bids w ill be publicly opened and read
aloud. Bids shall be clearly m arked “ The M ultnom ah Building”.
A pre-bid conference will be held on-site at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 18,
2000. Subcontractors are encouraged to visit thejobsite and become familiar
with existing conditions.
This Bid Package includes Interior Demolition, Interior Finishes, Mechanical
Systems, Electrical Systems and Fire Sprinkler Systems at the Multnomah
Building for Multnomah County.

All bidders must comply with the following requirements: Prevailing Wage
Law, ORS 279.350, Licensed with Construction Contractors Board ORS
671.530, Resident Status ORS 279.029. Subcontracts of $ 100,000 or more
must comply with the City o f Portland/Multnomah County work force
training and hiring program.
No bid will be considered unless received by 2:00 p.m. PST on January 25,
2000, and fully completed in the manner provided by the “Instructions to
Bidders”, upon the Bid Form provided.
