The Metro Regional Parks and Greenspaces Department, a service of
Metro, the regional government providing services in Multnomah,
Clackamas and W ashington Counties is requesting bids for
construction o f campgrounds and restrooms at Oxbow Regional Park
located at 3010 Oxbow Parkway, Gresham, OR., 97080.
Work contemplated consists o f demolition, clearing & excavation for
approximately 22 campsites, gravel parking for campsites, minor asphalt
road realignments within the campground and construction o f two 25’
by 28’ concrete masonry um t(CM U ) shower/restroom facilities.
Construction o f a new sewage treatment system is also part o f the
project. Also included is an alternate for 8 YURT wood decks and
electrical work.
Bids are due no later than 3:00 p.m., T h u rsd ay , D ecem ber 9,1999 at
Metro Regional Parks and Greenspaces offices, Atm. Glen Taylor, 600
NE Grand Avenue, Portland, Oregon 97232. At that time, the bids will be
opened and publicly read aloud in conference room 270. Bids received
after this time will not be considered. Copies o f the RFB may be

A M andatory Pre-Bid Conference is scheduled for Tuesday, November
16,1999 in the Oxbow Park offices located at 3010 SE Oxbow Parkway,
Gresham, OR 97080. A site visit is planned following the meeting.
This is a public works project. All bidders must certify that they will
comply with the requirements ofO RS 279.350, requiring payment o f
prevailing wage rates effective at the time o f this advertisement and
payment fee as required by BOLI. Contractors must be registered with
the Oregon Construction Board pursuant to ORS 671.350.
Bid must conform to the RFB format and be complete including the use
o f any forms. Metro may accept or reject any or all proposals, in whole
or in part, or waive irregularities not affecting substantial rights if such
action is deemed in the public interest.
