The Portland Police office o f the
Federal Bureau o f Investigation, in
cooperation with Crim e Stoppers, is
asking for your help in identifying
and apprehending four individuals
involved in a scheme, w hich has cost
area banks thousands o f dollars.
According to the FBI, the individuals
are using the identities o f other people
to o b ta in fictitio u s id en tifica tio n
from the O regon D epartm ent o f
M o to r V ehicles. T he id e n tific a ­
tio n is then used to open frau d u ­
lent bank accounts that are utilized
to p a ss sto le n an d c o u n te rfe it
ch ecks. T hese in d iv id u als, and
o th ers, have defrau d ed banks tor
o v e r $300.000. A ll suspects are

Gomez. A felony arrest warrant is on file
in W ashington C ounty, charging
Gomez with Sexual Abuse in the First
Degree and Unlawful Sexual Penetra­
tion in the Second Degree.
Henry "Nick” Gomez is a 19-year-old
Hispanic male, with a date ofbirth o f
November29,1979. Gomez is described
as 5’8" tall, weighing 130 pounds with
black hair and brown eyes. He has
tattoos on his left hand and wrist, and
a crippled left finger. Gomez is listed as
a gang affiliate and is known to frequent
the South Beaverton and Northwest
Tigard areas.
Crime Stoppers is offering a cash
reward o f up to $ 1,000 for information,
reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads
to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved

On Tuesday, August 24, 1999. at
approximately 2:55 AM, officers from
Southeast Precinct responded to a call
o f a stabbing at 1408 SE Boise St. #9.
When officers am ved they found a fe­
male inside the apartment that was suf­
fering from an apparent stab wound to
the torso. The female was transported to
equipm ent and materials in use at Gen
Tech Dentist. A lthough expansion
plans are in the horizon, Tse is focus­
ing on launching the initial G en Tech
D entist office. A fter the V ancouver
location is established, Tse foresees
openings a new G en Tech Dentist
location each quarter in the greater
Portland m etropolitan area.
