(TIP), a nonprofit emergency response team, will hold a Training Academy for new volunteers from August 12 through August 31. TIP Volunteers respond to fires, accidents, and other traumatic events to provide immediate emotional and prac­ tical support to victims and their families. Training will include information about working effectively with Police, Firefighters, Paramedics, and others who respond to a crisis situation.
