Caribbean Cruise Affair

Social Security (Facts or Fiction?)
A free seminar on Social Security will
be held on Saturday, July 31 from 10 AM
until NOON. There will be speakers from
the social security office, AARP Oregon
State office, Senator Ron W yden Office,
Education Coordinator from UFCW 555.
There will be a question and answer pe­
riod. N ow is the tim e to find out w hat is
really going on with Social Security. The
event will be at the Lutheran Inner City
Ministries (located on 4219 NE M artin
Luther King Jr. Blvd.).
Adopt-a-Pet Fair
The Oregon Humane Society's Third
Annual Adop-a-Pet Fair will be held on
Friday, July 30, through Sunday, August 1
from 10 AM until 7 PM all days. This is a
great time to find a new best friend for life.
There will be special adoption packages for
featured pets. All dogs get free adoption
package provided by Pet Pro and include
sample ofV ita Gravy and Dispoz-a-Scoop.
Other activities are planned. The Oregon
