Tibetan Nuns of Kathmandu Clarice “Mickey” Harris Clarice“Mickey"Harriswasbom December 16,1937 in Hanford, Cali forma, the only child bom to Aaron and Victoria Price. M ickey was bap­ tized in the Madera Church o f God at an early age. Upon coming to Port­ land at 16 years old to attend Warner Pacific College, she became a mem­ ber o f Beech Street Church o f God and taught Sunday school. M ickey met Bill Harris in 1954 upon his release from the US Army, and they married in 1955. During their union five children were bom Diane, Phillip, Cheryl, Kandyce, and Dana. They were divorced later. M ickey had a brilliant m ind and worked in several occupations. Her last jo b o f em ploym ent w as at the P ortlan d O b serv er N ew spaper, w here she w orked as a journalist. M ickey leaves to mourn herpass- ing, her son Phillip, her four daugh­ ters Diane, Cheryl, Kandyce ofPort- land and Dr. D ana Harris-Echols o f Virginia and her husband Dr. Eric Echols. O n May 14, 1972 she becam e the m other o f Antioch Church. Beatrice worked as Domestic House cleaner. Services w ere held on M ay 10, 1999 at Northeast Com m unity Fel­ low ship Church, Portland.
