definitely won’t go with him to any
prom. As the rejection letters roll in,
Greg comes to understand the errors
of his ways, and when a lone accep­
tance letter arrives - to the local trade
school recom m ended by a sympa­
thetic teacher, Mr. Shapic (MICHAEL
WARREN) - he sees himself finally
on the right track. Riding the bus, on
his way to the prom, Greg truly accepts
himself for the first lime, proud to be
who he is, to be keepin’ it real.
As Greg heads into the prom with
confidence, determined to win Cmny
back on his own terms, he is no longer
content to sit on the sidelines of his
own life. Head held high, he can fi­
nally trip not on what might happen,
or what he hopes will happen, but on
what he will make happen.
