The Office of Energy has scheduled a pre-proposal meeting Thursday.
March 1 8 ,1 9 9 9 at 10 AM. The m eeting will take place at the Salem
office of the Office of Energy, 625 Marion Street NE. Th is m eeting is
not m andatory. The Office of Energy does not intend to publish a
transcript of the meeting. The meeting is intended to provide all parties
with an opportunity to clarify the Office of Energy's expectations and
desired outcom e. After the meeting the Office of Energy may, in its sole
discretion, publish a transcript or amend this RFP if it would be in the

The initial term of the contract is estim ated to be two years, with an
option to renew for an additional year. The amount for the first year of

am ounts for the second and third years are not known, but may be as
