This Is For You LORD
Reverend Jackie McCullough Returns To Her Homeland Jamaica To Lead Thousands
O f Worshippers In A n Unprecedented Live Recording O f Praise A n d Worship
so n g s, m o stly p en n ed by
M cC ullough. “ 1 w rite like I
preach, so writing these songs
was another form o f preaching
for me,” says McCullough. That
explains why the combination o f
song interspersed with encour
aging exhortations and short
spirit-filled serm onettes is so
powerful: it’s a double dose o f
Scripture.
From the h o u se -in fu se d
grooves o f “Nothing But Plea
su re ” to the c ro w d -p lea sin g
reggae rhythm s o f “ Be C on
nected,” This Is For You Lord
appeals to a wide spectrum of
listeners.
To help pull it out o f her head
and
on to
the
k ey b o a rd ,
McCullough called on collabo
rator George E. Hyman, Jr. The
result is ten songs, written over
the course o f eight years, that
reflect both the heart o f her
C hristian experience and the
message with which she encour
ages the Church.
The title of the album is espe
c ia lly
s ig n ific a n t
for
McCullough, who says, “This is
absolutely for Him, because it’s
not for me, because I can’t sing.
And I think God has a sense of
humor by giving me all o f these
songs and the spirit of the songs,
and He knows I can’t even sing
one o f them in public.”
I n her beloved homeland of
Jamaica, world-renowned Evange
list Rev. Jackie McCullough led
over 5,000 enthusiastic worship
pers in a dynamic live recording
o f preaching and praise for the
new album, This Is For You
Lord.
Recorded on an outdoor stage
at The Church On The Rock, a
natural rock-carved am phithe
ater, the album features a host of
well-known talent, under the di
rection o f acclaim ed producer
Kevin Bond.

her fellow Jamaicans in the Lord
during an unforgettable evening
o f worship and the Word.
“ I wanted to do an album that
would take people into the pres
en ce o f the L o rd ,” says
M cC ullough. “ A place where
people would actually feel com
fortable, not intim idated, with
G od’s suprnatural presence. I
want people to experience God
and walk away with not just the
peace of God, but a piece o f God.”
The album presents a soul-stir

ICPS, Interpersonal Cognitive Problem Solving (or “I Can Problem Solve" to children developed by Dr.
Myma Shure, is a proven approach to developing problem solving skills among children from preschool to
middle school years. Through ICPS they are guided to think for themselves (taught HOW to think, NOT
WHAT to think); taught to evaluate their own ideas; and encourage trying out their own solutions. 1 wo
significant predictors of social adjustment and interpersonal competence, alternative solution thinking and
consequential thinking, are the learning results of children.
This workshop is ideal for those who are responsible for the development of children: parents/caretakers,
teachers, counselors, youth ministers, and childcare workers, ECT.
Fast-paced and absorbing, this workshop offers both lecture and hands-on training, providing the practical
techniques Dr. Shure describes in her book, Raising A Thinking Child
