Forgotten Soul
“Forgotten Soul” , written by Kwik Jones
is a play set during the struggling eighties,
about a fighter nam ed Ray (D.L. Irby) and
his dream o f becom ing the greatest boxer
the world has seen, since the now aging Ali.

part o f the Do som ething Kindness & Jus­
tice Challenge, a tw o-w eek national educa­
tion initiative in honor o f M artin Luther
King, Jr. At a recognition ceremony at Harriet
Tubm an M iddle School, M ayor K atz pre­
sented O lym pic-sty le “K indness & Justice”
m edals to a group o f “all-star” eighth grade
students and led them in a pledge to con­
tinue perform ing acts o f kindness and ju s­
tice to keep Dr. K in g ’s dream alive.

tice in their schools and neighborhoods, our
students are living the ideals taught by Dr.
M artin Luther King, Jr.,” said M ayor Katz.
