In Alan Ayckbourn’s frantic imgination, two dinner parties collide with some
ferociously tunny results. As three couples are caught up in a tangle of innuendo,
we the audience see this painfully tunny farce from a unique perspective: two
families’ living rooms are combined onstage to outrageous effect, as one couple
accepts invitations from the other two on consecutive nights.
