Sometimes things don't always manifest the way that a person would want when the answer comes

Patti Reed: Archangels are at the top
o f the rung. T hey have other angels
under them aligned to their specialty.

Q: W hat is the role o f angels ?
Patti Reed: T h ere’s acouple. Every­
one comes with a minim um oftw o guaid-
ian angels. O ne o f them is to m ake sure
that they do not leave the planet before

(people helping to deliver G od’s truth).
M ich ael is in charge o f the w arriors
o f T ruth (people chosen to act w ith
integrity and stand up for that w hich is
theirtime.
The second angel has to do with their
connection to their life’s purpose and
w hether their Soul has accom plished
that. That ’ s w hy a lot o f suicide attem pts
d o n ’t work. It’s ju st not time for the
person to go. T heir guardian angels
intervene to prevent their leaving.
Both angels help to create circum ­
stances to keep an individual on their 1 i fe

w ay people “sense" angels is a w arm

Overcoming A Poverty
Attitude
A t this tim e o f y ear w e are highly
sensitive to the dram atic contrasts o f
w e soon rise above the w eaknesses
that instill feelings o f guilt and unw or­
extravagant indulgence paintedagainst
the backdrop o f grinding poverty and
thiness.
T his w ay o f thinking stim ulates the
best w ithin us. draw ing us tow ard a
fuller expression o f it in our day lives.
T he affect is com pounding and gener­
ates a healthy attitude o f self-love. T o
despair. T hese conditions alw ays ex­
ist, but the festive season am plifies our
aw areness o f them . T he tw o extrem es
invariably register a p an g o f guilt in
m any people, even those struggling to
m ake ends m eet.
O f all the blocks to experiencing true
abundance in o ur lives, a lack o f self
w orth due to guilt is the greatest. If w e
believe w e do n o t d eserve w e w ill not
open ourselves to receive. F o r m ost
people, not d eserving is too p ainful to
think about, so o u r ego creates a shield
to cam ouflage the real cause o f lack.
T he shield is an attitude th at says
the real cause o f m isery is som ew here
outside us. It’s the econom y, m y boss,
m y com pany o r m y industry. It’s m y
poor education, m y sex, o rm y age. It s
anything except me.
H ow ever, w orthiness is the d o o r to
receiving true abundance. It is an as­
pect o f self-love and the antithesis o f
guilt. T o love o n e ’s s e lf then m eaas
that w e m ust rise above guilt. T he an­
tidote to guilt is self-forgiveness.
Forgiving ourselves can be accom ­
plished best by focusing on the good­
ness within us, and the good w e exer­
cise in our daily lives. Our thoughts are
m a g n e tic ,
by focusing on our good,
h elp you w ith this abundance attract­
ing focus, 1 suggest the creation o f a
“L o v e L ist.” U nder that w rite “ I de­
serve full abundance in m y life now
because: “
The list is then broken into tw o parts.
T he first p art is called: “P ro o f I de­
serve.” O n it, in point form , you list
every aw ard you have ever w on no
m atter how sm all. A dd to it every genu­
ine com plim ent you can rem em ber,
every certificate earned, every m erit
badge, in fact every achievem ent you
have accom plished as far back as you
can rem em ber.
T ry to keep each item short, sim ple
and very easy to read. As new achieve­
m ents occur in your life, add them to the
list. T his serves as constant validation
that receiving is a norm al part o f your
life.
T he second part o f the list is called:
"W h at I give I R eceive.” This part o f the
list illum inates the goodness w ithin
y o u m aking the process ofself-forgive­
ness easier.T his is not egotism . In feet,
it is an antidote to the lie the ego has told
days
you that you are n o t w orthy.
T he fact that y o u m ay no t n o w be
receiving w hat you have given is a
p erfect indication th at at so m e con­
scious o r u n co n scio u s level, y o u are
resistin g w h at y o u d eserv e b y not
feeling w o rth y o f it. I f y o u say to
y ourself; “ I d o n o t d eserv e,” th en you
w ill defm itelynot receive. R em em ber,
y o u r thou g h ts are like m ag n ets, they
attract w hat th ey focus u p o n .O n this
