W eapon 3," the highest grossing m ovie
in the group, opened in 1992 and intro­
duced Rene Russo in a starring role as
Martin R iggs’ love interest and fellow
daredevil detective, L om aC ole. Since
then, audiences have clam ored for the
return o f Riggs, M urtaugh, C ole and
G etz on screen.
