The racial/ethnic communities that may be targeted include, but are not limited to: African-American; Hispanic/Latino; Asian/Pacific Islander; and American Indians who do not reside in tribal service areas. Approximately $500,000 is available through this RFP. Both targeted, short-term projects (with a completion date of 6/30/99), and project with longerterm or ongoing potential may be funded. Projects must be regional (two or more counties) or statewide in scope.
