Susanne Elizabeth Bohanan is a
22-year-old white female, with a date
o f birth o f February 5, 1976. She is
5 ’8" tall and weighs approximately
200 pounds with brown hair and ha
zel eyes. Aliases include Susanna
Parker and Doris Kathleen Cohen.
Douglas Clifton Bohanan is a 37-
year-old white male, with a date o f
birth o f October 31, 1960. He is
5 ’9"” tall and weighs approximately
265 pounds with brown hair and blue
eyes.
The Bohanans have family and
relative living in the Portland metro
politan area.

tion, reported to Crime Stoppers,
which leads to an arrest in this case or
any unsolved felony crime, and you

On Tuesday, March 17, 1998 at
approximately 9:00 am, Portland
Police Detectives charged Jose
Adan Gutierrez w ith Assault I in
connection w ith the Christmas Day
1997 freeway shooting o f a Brush
Prairie, Washington man.
Robert Kyle and his w ife Cheryl
were driving their Ford pickup
truck north bound on 1-205 near
the Glen Jackson Bridge when they
became involved in a confronta
tion w ith a T oyota C elica driven
by G utierrez along with his wife.
G u tie rre z becam e upset at the
K y le’s and displayed a .38 caliber
revolver he had on his person. He
eventually fired one round from
the gun, striking Robert K yle in the
arm. T he C elica sped o ff north
bound from the scene.

H iggins led an investigation which
identified the suspect vehicle from
m ore than 36,000 po ssib ilities.

D epartm ent and the W ashington
D epartm ent o f M otor V ehicles,
detectives identified G utierrez as

and charged him. he is lodged in

Inmate Found Dead In His Holding Cell
A t approximately 10:05 a.m. on
M arch 15, 1997, M u ltn o m a h
County S h e riffs O ffice Correc
tions Deputies found an inmate
dead in his holding cell. The in ci
dent occurred at the Multnomah
County Detention Center (M C D C )
in the Intake/R eception area o f the
ja il. C orrections sta ff and para
m edics attem pted to revive the in
m ate but w ere unsuccessful. The
in m a te has b e e n id e n tifie d as
L aw rence A. Holt.
The Multnomah County S h eriff s
Detectives along with the East County
m ajorCrim es team are investigating
the incident which appears to be a
suicide. The M ultnom ah County
Medical Examiners Office is also
conducting an investigation that is
routine in jail deaths.
Scott's Auto Sales Ordered To Change
The Way They Sell Cars
Attorney General Hardy Myers
today announced that S cott’s Auto
Sales o f Portland and its owners, C.
Scott Othus, W est Linn and Gregory
Gage, Portland, must dramatically
change the way they sell cars in O r
egon. An A ssurance o f Voluntary
Compliance, outlining the changes
in current and future sales practices,
was signed today by Multnomah
County Circuit Court Judge Frank
Bearden.
“More than 125 Oregonian have
asked for relief from the poor busi
ness practices o f Scott’s Auto Sales,”
Myers said. “This agreem ent will
provide assistance for current com
plainants an d , if adhered to by Scott’s
Auto, also will significantly reduce
any future complaints.”
The agreement requires Scott’s
Auto, within the next 20 days, to
resolve any unresolved complaints
filed with the Department o f Justice
and to inform the Attorney G eneral’s
consumer protection staff ofall reso
lutions. Under the agreement, the
business will pay all costs o f non
binding mediation or binding arbi
tration.

Scott’s Auto also agrees to com
ply with all state and federal laws
pertaining to the sale o f automobiles

15 or 30 days.
The agreement further bars Scott’s
from engaging in any type o f “Spot
Delivery" or “bushing.”
