contraction of the West Area Mid-County Collector Sewer
Project No. 3071.

We are soliciting quotations for the Edgefield Children's
Center Project. Drawings and specifications are available at
the following metro area plan centers: Construction Data and
News, Daily Journal of Commerce, Oregon Contractors,
IMPACT, O.A.M.E. as well as the Salem and SW Wash, plan
centers.
The major quanitites involved are as follows:
20,250 L.F.— 8" Gravity Sewer Pipe
11,150 L.F.— 476" Service Lateral Pipe
The Edgefield Children's Center is a nonprofit organization
(see brochure) that would very much appreciate a cash or an
inkind donation. The bid form has a line labeled "Donation
Amount” where your donation would be inserted and de
ducted from your Bid Amount.

Contractor for this work shall furnish all labor at current U.S.
Department of Labor prevailing wage rates, materials and
equipment and services of all kinds to complete the work in
accordance with the plans and specifications therefore.
The project consists of four wood framed buildings at the
Edgefield center, and the associated site work. Each building
as well as the site work (Preliminary grading package already
bid) will be bid separately. The buildings are: Residence 'A',
Residence B', Janus/Morrison, and Eastwind. Please note,
all labor for the Eastwind building only is furnished by the
Columbia Joint Labor Council. (Please review resolution
enclosed in project manual). The work is scheduled to begin
in March 1998 with completion scheduled for Fall ‘98. (See
preliminary scheduled for more information)

Prior to obtaining plans and specifications, contractors
must be a holder of (as identified by the Department of
Environmental Services distribution list), or purchase ($50),
the current Cit) of Gresham Public Works Standards (July
20, 1993).
Plans and specifications may be examined at the office of the
Department of Environmental Services, 1333 N.W. Eastman
Parkway, Gresham, Oregon. Copies of said plans and speci
fications may be obtained upon application to the Department
of Environmental Services and by posting a non-refundable
fee of $25 with the Department of Environmental Services for
each set of plans and specifications requested. If plans and
specifications are ordered by mail, you must add a $5
processing and mailing charge. Questions concerning this

Contractors must prequalify for sanitary sewer construction
with the City of Gresham, as required by the laws of the State
