Cham pionships w inning seven consecutive years from 1991
o 1997. She is an O lym pic-hopeful and expected to com pete
in the 1998 W inter O lym pics in Nagano.

and body was different. There was a
light around me that grew in radiance
like a w alnut with rays o f sun com ing
out o f it. I went from dead to living."

th a t,‘‘W hen you cal I upon som eone’s
nam e.it is bringing forth a character­
istic in themselves. It illum inates their
being. W ords are Power. II you have
a nam e with substance, it stim ulates
that pat o f a p erso n ’s being. In e s­
sence, it is a com plim ent from other
people.”
Z a k iy a h renam ed her son
Zuheri. The new name reflects his
life ’s purpose. Z u b e ri means
Strength and Giving Help.
