Metro Washington Park Zoo
The Metro Washington Park Zoo, a service of Metro, the
regional governm ent providing services in M ultnom ah,
Clackamas and W ashington Counties is requesting proposals
for architectural services for the renovation of the train station
and ticket kiosk. Purpose of the project is to replace the existing
Train Station on the existing site. Design will also be required for
the ticket kiosk.
Proposals are due at the Metro Washington Park Zoo Facilities
Management Office, Gate A, at 4001 SW Canyon, Portland,
Oregon 97221, NO LATER TH A N 1:00 P.M. on Friday,
January 16, 1998. Copies of the RFP documents may be
obtained or site inspections arranged by contacting Esther
Burgoyne at (503) 248-5070, Ext. 28224 at the Metro W ashing
ton Park Zoo.
Proposals must conform to the RFP format and be complete
including the use of any forms. Metro may accept or reject any
or all proposals, in whole or in part, or waive irregularities not
affecting substantial rights if such action is deemed in the public
interest.

Notice is hereby given that a public hearing, if so requested by
any interested person, will be held by the Tri-County Metropoli
tan Transportation District of Oregon (Tri-Met) at 3:30 PM,
Wednesday, January 28th 1998 at the Washington County
Public Services Building, 155 North First Avenue, Hillsboro in
the Shirley Huffman Auditorium. The purpose of this hearing is
to consider projects for which federal assistance from the
Federal Transit Administration is being sought. Persons re
questing that this hearing be convened should contact Tri-
Met’s Grants Administrator by telephone (503) 238-5850 or in
writing at 4012 S.E. 17th Avenue, Portland, OR 97202 by
Monday, January 12th 1998.
