Wash A Car Without Water?
Sound Crazv!
mas memories We look forward to
the holiday season and the warm
felling it brings to people. And like
our name says, 'sisters m i l l voices.'
we wanted Io use our voices in their
ull glory (we really worked hard,
ke Santa's elves) to demonstrate
how highly we regard the holiday
season.
Traditions are important to us. and
the sons on this album are all C hrist
mas favorites, down with our own
flavor. We especially suggest that
you give a listen to "The Christmas
Song (Chestnuts Roasting On An
fire),.... rhis Christmas," and "O Holy
Night,” we filled them with spirit, to
lead you into the season. Taj gives a
new twist to "Christmas Ain't Christ
mas" and l.elee and Taj turn in a
wonderful interpretation (it we do
say so ourselves ,.)of "My Favorite
Thins." great for w rapping-or un
wrapping -colorful gilt boxes And
an especially notable track is the
outstanding duel between Coko and
her gospel singer mother. Tibba
Gamble, on their heartfelt rendition
of the classic "Silent Night."
In closing, w e'd like to wish you
and yours a v ery happy joyful 1997
holiday season We hope you enjoy
listening to this album as much as we
enjoyed making it!

Diamond D is one brother you
don’t have to tell, “keep it real.” In
1993, the Bronx-born producer, em
cee and Diggin’ In The Crates crew
co-conspirator formally invaded rap
m usic's collective consciousness as
its self-proclaimed "Best Kept Se
cret” on his speaker-searing debut
single of the same name. Like that
individual classic, Diamond's ster
ling inaugural LP, Stunts, Blunts &
Hip Hop, served as a first class exhi
bition for the hip hop heavyweight’s
prowess from both sides of the studio
control boards, delivering undeni
ably dope songs like "Sally Got A
One Track,” “F— K Whatcha Heard"
and the underground posse barn
stormer “You C an 't Front,” featur
ing former Brand Nubian, Satai X
and fellow DITC-associaie Lord Fi
nesse.
More than three years, and a series
of now squashed label-complication
later, Diamond makes his highly an
ticipated return as a recording artist
with his long-delayed follow-up,
Hatred, Passion and Infidelity and
exciting collection ol showcase com
pelling lyrics and expertly craflcd
tracks that once again invigorates hip
hop with a much-needed dose ot cre
ativity, ingenuity and legitimacy.
