Senior Summer
Festival Shows
off Artwork
Senior artists age 50 and over are
encouraged to bring their water-re­
lated artwork to be exhibited at the
Senior Summer Festival, slated Fri­
day, Sept. 5, from 3:30 to 9 p.m. at
the Water Resources Education Cen­
ter, 4600 Columbia Way. This is the
second year the festival has featured
a senior artshow.
All art mediums will be accepted
including photography, painting, ce­
ramics, quilts, wall hangings, dolls
and woodcarvings. Each exhibit must
have a water-related theme.
Artists can take their materials to
the Water Resources Education Cen­
ter on Monday and Tuesday, Aug. 25
and 26, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
Exhibits must be picked up on Mon­
day, Sept. 15, by 4 p.m. Entry forms
and information arc available at
