licensing requirement repealed

employment agencies became ef
fective Monday, June 30. The Bu
reau of Labor and Industries is the

employment agencies whose fees
are paid by applicants for em ploy

provisions requirements

Private em ploym ent agencies
whose fees are paid by anyone other

Questions about the law should
be directed to the bureau's licensing
unit at 5O3-73I-4O74 in Portland.
The average check totals $ 1,600.
