•1 9 9 7 Digital Aerial Photography. Metro is requesting
proposals for aerial photography coverage of the Portland
metropolitan area.

• Birds of Prey Building Re-Bid. Metro is soliciting bids for
the Birds of Prey Building at the Metro Washington Park
Zoo, located at 4001 SW Canyon Road. This contract is for
the construction of the new Birds of Prey Mews building
adjacent to the train tracks and the existing elephant front
yard at the Metro Washington Park Zoo. Work includes,
but is not limited to, minor excavation and utilities, con­
struction of a new standard pole building with asphalt floor
and mesh enclosure for bird holding, a wood frame keeper
kitchen/bathroom with concrete floors, and miscellaneous
carpentry utilizing some recycled plastic lumber. There is
a small component each of electrical, mechanical and
landscaping. Bid documents will be available after 9:30
AM, Monday, June 23. A mandatory Pre-Bid conference
for prospective Bidders will be conducted at 10:00 AM,
Friday, June 27, 1997. Bidders should meet at the
