The shooting is believed to have occurred as a result o f a fistfight that escalated into a shooting situation There were at least 10 individuals involved in the altercation when the shots were fired. DeJesus is believed to have gang affiliations in the Washington County area Several o f the others involved are also believed to be gang affiliated Search warrants have been served and a handgun has been recovered.
